My Story

 Hello, My name is Daniel Meade, and I am the founder of Vital greens. I started the business due to my interest in nutrition and holistic health.

 

 Understanding that the kind of nutrients we feed our bodies is a key factor when it comes to cultivating a healthy body and mind, so I did a lot of research on a variety nutrient-dense foods. It was during this time I came across microgreens which I have never heard of before. So I went down a microgreens rabbit hole and immediately became interested because of the high amount of nutrients and antioxidants these tiny plants provide.

 So I quickly started to grow my own and grew my first batch of radish and broccoli. When the day finally came to harvest and eat them, the results exceeded my expectations. I was shocked to find out how much flavor these tiny plants can add to your meals, and to add onto that you are getting a substantial amount of nutrients. This positive experience inspired me to scale up my microgreens cultivation, growing a diverse range of varieties in larger quantities. Not only did this allow me to meet my own needs, but I also found joy in sharing the surplus with family and friends who as well enjoyed the nutritional and culinary benefits of microgreens.

 From this experience, I found out I enjoyed providing people with a service we both appreciate which inspired me create Vital Greens . My aspiration for Vital Greens is to provide all customers with high quality microgreens so they can elevate their health and culinary experience.
